True crime projects have been all the rage over the past decade, leaving fans wondering after the miniseries “How could anyone do that?” You wonder about so many things and you can’t help but want to watch all the true crimes streaming. So far, 2022 is shaping up to be the year of true crime miniseries, and as a little President’s Day gift, Amazon is selling many books based on the stories at a discount.

Before television seized these stories to show the world, many people were writing bestselling crime books. From actual victims to bystanders, people wrote about the criminals, making people even more fascinated by the events.

Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup – $11.45, originally $16.95

Chances are you’ve heard of Elizabeth Holmes, the CEO of start-up Theranos. She was once considered a genius, one of Silicon Valley’s greatest – only to have it come out that it was all a lie. Hulu will release a miniseries about Holmes starring Amanda Seyfried titled The Stall. If you want to dig deeper before watching, you can’t go wrong with Bad Blood.
The stall will be released in March. 3, 2022 on Hulu.

Bone Deep: Unraveling the Betsy Faria Murder Case – $24.33, originally $28.00

Betsy Faria’s murder shook the world when it happened in 2011, especially after it was revealed that it was her best friend Pam Hupp who took her life. Renee Zellweger will star in a new miniseries based on the murders titled The thing about Pambut it would be nice to read the crazy deal with Bone Deep beforehand.

The thing about Pam is set to air on NBC in March. 8, 2022.

Proof of Love: A True Story of Suburban Passion and Death – $21.99, originally $26.99

Texas housewife Candy Montgomery was known as the nice lady of the neighborhood, which made it all the more shocking when it emerged she had murdered her friend. Evidence of Love uses exclusive interviews with affected families and goes deeper than anyone thought, leading to a limited series named Candywith Jessica Biel.

Candy should be released in 2022.
