For anyone getting into modern horror, you can’t delve into the genre without understanding the impact of Stephen King. The writer left an indelible mark on horror and science fiction literature. Her first novel, Carriewas released in 1971, and has since had not one, but of them film adaptations. Because if anything is timeless, it’s the emotional struggle of being a teenager…just be grateful that none of your classmates have telekinesis.
